Silwood Estate is a great example of how A&J Ryan can be flexible in their approach to a project. This development involved working with Quadrant Construction on a mixed tenure regeneration project in Lewisham, South London.
The 9 apartment blocks and 4 blocks of individual houses make up a total development comprising of around 150 dwellings. Each residence benefited from A&J Ryan’s wide ranging experience in the industry.
A&J Ryan completed the full building mechanical services element of the project. We supplied the site with natural gas services, above ground foul drainage, a central district heating system, hot and cold water services, mechanical ventilation systems and BMS controls. We finished the project with full testing and commissioning services.
On this project A&J Ryan were able to engage with the community by employing apprentices from the surrounding area. This gave local residents the ability to be involved with the project first-hand and enabled our company to pass on valuable construction skills to the work force of the future.
